“Storytelling Workshop: Our Stories, Our Strength”

Studies have shown that one of the most effective ways for people to change their perceptions about mental illness is to make contact with someone who has been impacted by it. Whether you’ve experienced mental illness personally, supported someone else through mental illness, or survived the suicide of a loved one, you have an important story to tell. If you’re interested in learning how to tell your story in a safe and empowering way, through writing or spoken word, that changes minds and hearts, then this is the workshop for you. This workshop is designed for small groups (30-40 students) and lasts approximately 5 hours.
