No doubt about it — the transition from high school to college can be overwhelming for first-year students.
The situation is challenging and new, plus many mental health issues emerge during a person’s early twenties. It’s important every parent know what to do.
We’ve got you covered with “Mental Health Checklist: 7 Parent Tips on How to Prepare Your Student for College.”
The checklist was written by Stephanie Pinder-Amaker, PhD, director of the College Mental Health Program at McLean Hospital; instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School; and Active Minds National Advisor. The original illustrations are by Evey Cahall.
Download the checklist by first filling out the form below. Feel free to photocopy and share the checklist with all the parents you know!
