About Active Minds for Every Mind
2022 Southern California Cohort
Active Minds for Every Mind empowers and trains the next generation to effectively engage with historically underserved populations by inspiring the creation of authentic and responsive mental health programs. Rooted in principles of community-based participatory research, this paid opportunity for a cohort of 20 students across 10 campuses is reaching at least 5,000 students with meaningful mental health initiatives. Active Minds backs the students with support and training to plan and execute a program or initiative on their campus during the fall of 2022 that specifically aims to empower underserved populations.
Each year, Active Minds for Every Mind will launch in a different location, with our first cohort coming from Southern California schools.

Active Minds for Every Mind FAQs
Participants in the Active Minds for Every Mind program must be a current student of a college or university in Southern California.

• $1,000 stipend
• Training in mental health programming and leadership from Active Minds Staff
• Support in program management on their campus from Active Minds Staff
