Active Minds’ Strength and Sustainability Cohort Project

In partnership with several key organizations, Active Minds is proud to launch the National Strength and Sustainability Cohort. Each participating campus will have up to three student ambassadors who will work closely with peers and Active Minds National Staff to ensure the successful implementation of the project goals.

This unique opportunity will support the development of strong and sustainable Active Minds chapters throughout the country. Active Minds has established the content and deliverables of the grant opportunity based on years of experience in launching chapters, recommendations from student leaders, and public health expertise of Active Minds staff.

Campuses involved with this year-long project will:

  • Create and/or strengthen an Active Minds chapter presence on their campuses by the end of the school year.
  • Plan and implement at least two Active Minds events with the goal of raising awareness about mental health and strengthening their chapter.
  • Establish collaborative partnerships with other student organizations and/or departments on campus to support cultural responsiveness and chapter sustainability.
  • Work closely with campus peers and professionals, fellow student leaders, and Active Minds National Staff to ensure successful implementation of the project goals.
