In short, no. All campuses and chapters are unique and relatively autonomous. Chapters are encouraged to embrace and adapt our national programs and materials in whatever way best suits the needs of their particular campus and student body. Our school needs someone from Active Minds National to verify something, sign something, or provide information.
Not a problem! Contact us with the information you need including any documentation requested and we’ll work with you. Please be sure to give us at least a week’s notice to sign any necessary documentation as our schedules tend to fill up from day to day!
What is in the Chapter Agreement? Can we download it ahead of time?
All chapters sign the Chapter Agreement when they register to affirm that they understand the policies they must abide by to remain in good standing with the National Office. Can we use the name and logo of Active Minds before we register our chapter?
Yes! This can be a powerful tool in your efforts to recruit your initial Active Minds team Once your chapter is registered you’ll have access to a custom logo with your your school name and colors, plus more information about using Active Minds’ official brand and logo.
Can I start an Active Minds chapter at an Elementary School, Middle School, or Community Organization (ie. Church, camp, youth group)?
Only high schools, colleges and universities, and graduate schools can start chapters currently. We encourage you to check out our Take Action page for other ways to get involved with Active Minds.
