Are you a college student who wants to make a difference on your campus?

Active Minds’ Mental Health Advocacy Institute is a paid leadership opportunity that equips college students to advocate for mental health change on their campuses. Participants gain valuable knowledge on current mental health issues in higher education and learn to develop and implement advocacy action plans tailored to their specific campus.

By the end of the semester, participants are prepared and supported to implement a mental health advocacy action plan addressing a specific issue on their campus, and by the end of the academic year they will have implemented their plan with support from Active Minds staff.

Applications are now CLOSED for the Fall 2024 cohort of the Mental Health Advocacy Institute. Please check back in Spring 2025 for updates on applying to future cohorts.
