Her journey as a stress management expert and self-care advocate began when she found herself on short-term disability for stress after landing her dream job. Suffering from burnout, she was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and prescribed medication.
But instead of letting stress paralyze her and hold her success hostage, she decided to develop a daily self-care regimen that restored her health and peace of mind in just 90 days (no medication required). One year after reclaiming her mental wellness, Aisha landed a promotion to a new role – even after being demoted upon returning to work after her short-term disability leave.
And now, she’s on an ongoing mission to tell her story and share practical self-care advice with other professionals on the brink of drowning in stress and overwhelm. Today, Aisha is a dynamic speaker, trainer, and coach who uses her “been-there done-that” expertise to pour into ambitious professionals at high-profile nonprofits and healthcare organizations to take control of their vision, time, career, and relationships.
Aisha has been invited to speak at summits, conferences, and other events across the country. She has been featured on podcasts, radio shows, global and national news outlets and including the popular, “The Happy Healthy Nonprofit: Strategies for Impact Without Burnout,” by Beth Kanter and Aliza Sherman.

Get Serious About Self-care: The #1 Superpower To Deal With Burnout in The 21st Century
Stress is considered an inevitable part of the modern workplace and the pandemic tremendously increased the strain. Stress often goes ignored and has consequences for health and well-being that must be addressed. This session invites participants to understand the imperative for ambitious employees to get serious about self-care as a method to proactively address stress. Participants will identify and evaluate their own strategies and create a personal self-care plan designed to avoid burnout and support both individual and collective well-being.
This session will cover:
- The 3 common burnout traps of ambitious employees (and how to avoid them).
- Why it’s important to practice self-care daily and how to start doing it.
- 5 Steps to take to make a self-care plan to revive and sustain your life and career.
I would highly recommend Aisha Moore’s services for anyone seeking to improve their self-care practices or for organizations that are seeking to be more intentional about addressing the self-care needs of their members.
