Make connections

We’re in this together

The Active Minds National Office is staffed with a diverse group of passionate individuals who, above all, are here to support the vital mental health advocacy work that you’re doing. We create content, facilitate connections, solicit feedback from students, answer questions, and cheer you on!

You are also connected to thousands of fellow peer leaders who are at the ready to answer questions and offer support. Below are some really great ways to learn more and connect with folks who are all in this together!

We’re here for you.

Monthly Office Hours

Once a month the National Office hosts 30-minute sessions with staff, student leaders, experts in the field, and others where you can learn about public health best practices, chapter success tips, and more! Learn more about office hours and register today.

Student Advisory Committee

Each spring, we welcome new members to the Student Advisory Committee, comprised of up to 20 students from across the country who show extraordinary leadership and dedication to Active Minds. The committee is an advisory body to the national office that brings the student perspective to organizational decision making.

Other ways to connect

Chapter E-News
Be the first to know about exciting updates, news, and reminders from the National Office by signing up for the twice monthly Chapter E-News emails.

Social Media
Active Minds is where you are: on social media! Follow, like, retweet, emoji-react and more on these platforms:

One of the best ways to get ideas and see what other chapters are doing is to follow each other’s chapters on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, etc! The Active Minds Chapter Network is a great place to see highlights, and you can use the “pages liked by this page” section to find other chapter pages to follow.

Chapter Network Slack
Slack is an online workspace that allows you to connect with other student mental health leaders and professional staff around the country to brainstorm ideas, share successes, and work together on projects and initiatives. All chapter leaders are eligible to join our Slack team; find out more about the Chapter Network Slack.

Active Minds Blog
If you’re not reading the Active Minds Blog, you’re missing out! Chapter leaders and members are welcome (and encouraged) to write for the blog in any way you’d like. You can share your own story, write up some relevant research you’ve been doing, share a creative fundraiser or program, or anything else you think people would like to read!

You can find all of the posts related to chapters in these places on the blog:
